Chico Active 20/30 Club community services take on two main forms. In addition to volunteering time to help other organizations, they also conducts their own fundraising events to donate money to children’s groups. The club regularly meets twice a month to plan events and fundraisers, as well as share in the camaraderie of the group. Active 20-30 members come from all professions and walks of life. The organization differs from many service organizations because they not only raise money for children's charities but also encourage active involvement with those groups. This active participation serves to solidify their relationships with those they serve, maintains motivation, and provides the opportunity to help others.
